Description
Askeladden is a Norwegian shipyard whose name evokes the hero of Scandinavian folk tales — and not by chance: like its mythological namesake, the yard consistently finds unconventional solutions where others follow the beaten path. Born among rugged fjords where the sea sets its own rules, Askeladden builds boats in which Scandinavian sturdiness meets the lightness and thrill of active recreation. Every hull is designed with real northern conditions in mind — cold water, changeable weather, and heavy loads — while thoughtful ergonomics and practical details reveal a genuine understanding of how a true marine tool should behave. From compact fishing boats to spacious family cruisers, the Askeladden model range covers an exceptionally wide spectrum of tasks while remaining true to its core principle: reliability without compromise and enjoyment from every outing on the water.
